Einführungstage
... wollen, erscheint ein Mann in der Lobby und er sieht so aus, als würde er eine Gruppe suchen. Wir sprechen ihn also an und tatsächlich, er ist von der Organisation und soll uns die 2 Tage begleiten. Na dann mal los. Leider ist er Franzose und selbst erst vor einigen Jahren nach Kanada gekommen und somit ist sein Englisch sehr gebrochen. Und der soll uns etwas über das Leben in Kanada erzählen und bei der Kontoeröffnung weiterhelfen?? Na mal schauen.

... long there. I think there were a lot of Riggers, guys who work on the oil rigs throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. I guess they're the Canadian equivalent of the cashed-up bogans working in the mines in WA. So after a twinkle tour (looking at Christmas lights) we went back to JD's place where I was introduced to poppycock - basically popcorn that is caramalised and cooked with pecans and walnuts. Pretty amazing stuff.
