Pop couldn't wait to hit the fishing spots so he and Kiernan set off to try their luck. All they have caught so far is a stingray. They are all going out fishing tonight while Nanna stays home to cook dinner. We'll have a roast tonight and save all the fish they are going to catch for tomorrow night!
... of our bus journey Ainsley got us at the front of the coach in turns answering a few basic questions about ourselves into a microphone - was a little embarrassing but a good way of trying to remember peoples names! ... all very weird so after parking up we went to look around more. It was a lovely campsite with really clean amenities and lots of private space. As we walked into the main building of the campsite we were greeted by a big crowd all gathering at front. The owner was doing a demonstration of how to make a clog . He had two machines and a lump of tinder to help talked and demonstrate the process of shaping the clog. Sawdust was flying everywhere as the lump of wood ...
... and the drinking games started with funnel forfeits for losing at cards. I ended up losing 3 times in a row against a few welshed. Ended up going to a live gig in The Railway that night which was pretty good. Monday morning I'd to move to Nomads which was a pity as it was a great hostel. Nomads was ok but they had a late check in and I was going kayaking so had to leave my stuff there and go. The kayaking was great we got to see sea turtles but I really wanted to see ...
So we are now in NSW. Or New South Wales. The weather has been wonderful and we feel very lucky to be here when we look at the temperatures back home! The beaches here just seem to go on forever and are endlessly beautiful. We went walking today at the beach where we are staying and there were maybe 10 people on the beach.
