... there and was the way around the botanic garden. Saw a bridge and as we got closer saw that there was about a meters clearance. I got Ari to duck down to see if we could fit under it was it was too low, didn’t hep that I pointed out there were cobwebs everywhere.
So we turned around and headed back down river, at this point the current seemed to of changed somehow and slowed us down a bit.

... We used this as a base to see some of the local national parks and other sights

One of the most interesting was a place called O'Reilleys in Lamington National Park(a 40km tortuous drive up a thousand meters) but with fantastic views at the top

As well as a number of shorter trips we spent a full day on the Gold Coast's Surfers Paradise.

Today we got up early and headed off for Repton (near Coffs Harbour). We stopped off at Grafton to wash the van and arrived at the caravan park at 11am. Janice and Steve were already there, having got there just 10 minutes before us. It is a lovely caravan park right on the Bellinger River. ... camp its about $34/night with electricity and all amenities. It was freezing at night 8 degrees i was shivering. I was not prepared for winter well semi-winter camping.
