... water and making dams with their Dad. They played with Rafe and we threw and catched his ball, paddled (well I hobbled) and collected stones and twigs - the light was going down and it was pure magic, sparkling and dancing a waltz on the waters edge. A truly magical day - we were collectively pretty exhausted last night and went to bed early after a 'using what we had' supper - beans and cheese on toast for Monsieur and some corn thins, honey and cheese for us.
