It's so much more meaningful, knowing that both my parents served in the Pacific arena at the close of the War--my father in the Army Air Corps and my mother as a Registered Nurse in the Army. The Wall Street Journal states "A museum of this quality--and importance--needs to be seen ..." It was indeed a powerful experience.

Wanted Jane to see Fredericksburg. When I lived in San Antonio, Fredericksburg was a small town looking very much like it did in the early 1900's, but it has grown up. VERY high end shops, not so much cheap junk, very nicely done, did I mention VERY expensive? Had a nice stroll through downtown, then headed off to our hotel in Boerne. Had a great dinner at Cypress Cafe. GOLF tomorrow!
