... at the Blind River sign but I did not see a sign. Maybe they just disappear too often. It's around 3pm and I'm at a Tim's having a med. Dark roast in a ceramic mug. Don't get much better eh.

... up for any deviations from the famous itinerary. It's been a long day of driving but we made it to Gaylord Michigan, Bob Evans restaurant next to the hotel, so we don't even need to get back in the Tahoe today. After a big supper Ciera and I decided to walk to Walmart to get snack and drinks for tomorrow's drive, the old guy didn't come with us....claims he's allergic to Walmart....pffft! ... The scenery is beautiful! There are tons of pine trees and every now an then you will get a view of a huge wetland or Lake Michigan.

Last night it rained all night and it is still drizzling this morning. We are going to go to Seney National Wildlife Refuge and then making our way to a campground near Porcupine Mountain State Park.

... to the beach. The water is fairly warm, though I wouldn't stay in it for long. Nap time! Today we listened to one of my Kate diCamillo (native Minnesotan) faves, "the Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulaine"..music selections were Mara's. She kept it clean with Lourdes and Lucinda Williams.
