... Great American Logging Show which was a lot of fun. The loggers had several competitions against each other like chopping, sawing, log rolling and tree climbing. They involved the audience and made it very enjoyable.

... route basically went all around Vancover and with our ticket we could pick up the bus anyplace and get off anyplace and back on at any stop. The bus drivers were tour guides and told us about the areas we passed. First we went around the whole route, which took a little under 2 hours. Having been so impressed with the Athabascan peoples I had high hopes for the excursion..

Ketchikan is a town of 8,050 and the Salmon capital of the world. We hopped on an explorer boat to see Misty Fjord and the Tongass National Forest. On our way out of town, we were able to glimpse the well-known street of totems.
