As mentioned before, I have now laid claim to a lounge chair on the Solarium level outside instead of the cabin level inside. We'll see how this goes. However, I have noticed that the farther south we get the nicer the weather is, it is warmer and not so cold and wet! That's a lot of rain! The town has a misty damp feel to it but surprisingly it isn't raining today and there is even a little sun peeking through.

... carving hall...
Another disappointment... Nobody doing any carving...
When asked about the meaning of the 1/2 finished Totems on display.. "Oh those are for Casinos in Vegas"...
We get about $3,000 per foot for them.. Do you use traditional colours? No all paint comes from Home Depot...

I hope this is not a true indicator of what is happening to the culture of the Tlingit people but just a badly done ...
