Eventually you come to the dark bit of water, which I wrongly assumed was because it was deeper when actually it was because the sandy base now was covered in a fixed sort of grass giving a darker colour. ... it took a bit of getting used to for me but I got us there safely. Driving down was great because we were crossing bridges over clear turquoise water and passing loads of beautiful beaches and the weather was lovely (if a little clouded over). ... some great acts there until it was dark. From there I headed down Duval Street which is the main street on the island. Its jam packed with bars with neon lights everywhere. Most of the bars are open fronted and are very enticing. Met up with Tom & Sol and headed to a couple of them, quite pricey though, didn't have a late night.
