... charming. For the couple of days in Seminyak, I'll be staying at the Ize - lovely.

I have done no Yoga! I would like to take at least 1 yoga class in Bali so I should do something to prepare. Who knows, I might like it!

The biggest update is how drastically my flights have changed. I chose my flights based on 2 things - price & speed. The price was good & it was about a 24 hour trip with the stops. Now it's about 3 ...

Went to the natural history museum today, as all the museums are free in Washington due to the smithsonian institute ! Had a great time walking around the museum with a beautiful exhibit all about marine photography which we both really enjoyed !! Had a really good exhibit on mining and minerals as well with some beautiful diamonds on display ...

... was built before the Revolutionary War and both Washington and Lee went to church here. Our local docent pointed out the old style wine-glass pulpit as we sat in the Washington family box.

... looking forward as well as back. This is my favourite spot of the day. We then went inside looking up at Abraham Lincoln. He is HUGE! It was so hard to get photos as everyone was getting in each others roads. We both felt like Japanese tourist. Stopping getting off the bus, quickly snapping photos and getting back on.
There were other stops around this park linking to different wars in time.

... accent is of no help at all. I've seen more uniformed people than I care to remember in the last 3 weeks and not one of them has ever cracked a smile.

Well, I can tell you that people in the east are more uptight than those from the west. The moment a traffic light turns green you are sure to hear the horns honking. Don't dare ask anyone in a suit for directions or they will just ignore you.

Friday: it's probably a good thing that nothing really opens ...
