“Great Stay at Blue Forest Lane”
We arrived late at night but were welcomed by Brent in spite of the late hour. Although he had sent detailed instructions on how to get there from the airport, we were glad to have a Garmin with us because the residential area is now well lit. The B & B is beautifully furninshed and our room (The Garden Room) was exceptionally large...especially the bathroom. Breakfast was at the time of our choice and was delicious. Brent was most helpful in sighseeing hints. The second night another couple from Australia arrived. We had wonderully stimulating conversation with them and the owners comparing and contrasting our 3 countries. Very clean accommodations and a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. Easy access with our car to everyplace we wanted to go.

Steve kindly set up the outdoor steamer and with beer(s) in hand, Jeff went out to watch the festivities. The rain was falling and the girls were not remotely interested in joining in, so I set about getting ready to receive our fine shelled friends when they were ready. I never knew it took two hours to cook a lobster, but I think it has something to do with the beer ...
The Last Leg
... couple of days. Both Sam and I were keen to return to 'wilderness’ once more, so we pulled our Lonely Planet Guide Book and began reading. We had been advised that a visit to Cape Breton – the coastal region situated at the very tip of Nova Scotia and some 400kms away – was worth the trip, however, after studying the transport options and noting what little time we really had left, we both felt that this wasn’t a viable trip on ...
