      ... he was and how he couldn't possibly take a break, yet there was NO ONE there AND he had an assistant (?!). And believe it or not I'm not a high maintenance kind of girl and don't need or typically like being catered to (unless I'm paying big bucks for it and I'm in the US). He was also very deferential to his uncle as if he was "big brother" and seemed self conscious that he'd know his every move. I realized he meant that since there were cameras installed all over the property ...

      ... ever had at lunch time at a beautiful open-sided restaurant built into a lush river gorge. It was fish, of course, but so tasty and with yummy accompaniments. In the afternoon we saw the Seven Colored Earth near Charmarel, an area of volcanic soil that probably would have been more impressive if it wasn't wet. Again it was a long, but thoroughly enjoyable day. And we got to see a large part of the island. One of the highlights for me ...

      ... which of course is another beautiful, secluded little island off of a much bigger island called Madagascar, which you all know is off of southeast Africa. Anyway, there were other really pretty, tiny islands very close to Gabrielle Island. You could easily swim to them. When we got there, we all jumped off and started swimming toward the beach. I brought my goggles so I started “snorkeling” on my way to the beach.

      ... love seafood, of course as it is surrounded by the sea!, but it was interesting to see a fish counter at supermarket even cos you will see different kinds of fish from Northern Hemisphere.

      After the main meal, we had dessert which was BBQed banana.
      It was quite simple - half sliced banana with sugar on top but it was soooo nice!
      Something simple and basic make the life better sometimes, doesn't it?
