At one point I was on the side of the freeway in the rain (still) battling traffic and splashes of mud in my face. I had to wear my sunglasses to ensure no objects hit my eyes, but it made visibility a bit darker considering it was already a cloudy day. On top of that, my rain jacket was somehow creating ...

Again it rained off and on in the morning, but since it is so warm, it isn't a problem. We went to a Hindu Temple on the banks of the Grand Bassin, a lake that is holy to the Hindus because its waters communicate with the River Ganges in India. (More than 40% of the population is ...

Things like this…. Jeff educated us about the island kindly, in very fluent English.
We stayed at the Monalysa Bungalow in Grand Baie.
Maybe because it was off season, it was very cheap (25 euros/night/room).
The room was very clean with shower & toilet and kitchen.
It was well located, just on a high street, very close to the local supermarket and 3 minutes walk to the beach.
