... without any further drama. And only a few light flashes and claps of thunder. Our biggest excitement of the day was a trip to the local laundromat to resupply our ward robe selection. ... What a nice way end breakfast!! After our libation, we visited an early flea market at the local Methodist Church in downtown Natchez. Charlene found some old quilts that she just needed to bring home. She also found another piece of luggage to bring home all her treasures. ... until the main house was built in 1833. After 1884 the property was acquired by John Hampton Henry and Miss Cammie Garrett Henry and then became a haven for artist and writers. There is a nominal $10 charge for a tour of the primary buildings. The tour was excellent. ... Desert Museum. We visited Tombstone, we camped in Las Cruces and we spent the night in a horrible hotel because we got a bit late (30 dollars a night per room - that says it all).

And now we are in Louisiana enjoying the local accent and colors! Tomorrow we'll head to Natchez and then up to Vicksburg where we'll stay for a few days. So more later....
