Almost Creole Country...
... Desert Museum. We visited Tombstone, we camped in Las Cruces and we spent the night in a horrible hotel because we got a bit late (30 dollars a night per room - that says it all).
And now we are in Louisiana enjoying the local accent and colors! Tomorrow we'll head to Natchez and then up to Vicksburg where we'll stay for a few days. So more later....

Day 15 - Man, Do I miss Texas!
... have been riding since day 2 to a local bike shop for a "tune up". Guy there trued up the wheels, adjusted the brakes, lubed up the cables, etc. The roads so far have delivered a pretty good beating to my equipment ( and the bike too). Don't need any malfunctions causing a crash and putting a premature end to this thing. Or else I'll be back again next year.
All in all, a pretty uneventful day. No near ...
