    ... Stopped and had sandwiches and coffee in the car, then we stopped at Laurinburg just after 4pm for supper. Only a Shoneys and they were closing at 5pm because it is Christmas Day. Only the buffet to have and there was not much left of that, not a very nice meal. We had to stay in a Microtell hotel again, but there was only 4 other rooms taken, so it was a quiet ...

    ... the drive was quicker than we expected. It is a 5 minute drive to the airport. All is good, or so it seems, until we get into the terminal.

    We get into the West Jet line and are approached by a pretty West Jet employee who urges us to use the self-serve kiosk. I am not impressed as we are already checked in but she tells us we can us it kiosk to print our boarding passes and luggage tags and that will save time. The stupid terminal does ...

    ... security [not as good as Tabu, a family joke] and the walk to the gate was all done in some 40M.

    The airport is pretty busy so some people are doing well in this economy. No damn wifi so a bit of diary stuff, waiting to board the 767-300, an older model ie no individual screens, no options within types of music [the pop stuff so so at best]. I gave up my window seat so a couple could sit together but gained an aisle seat [2-3-2].
