... are some very steep places you can walk down to the water. Didn't try it though but did see people down on the shore. There is still evidence of when this area was a big logging community. There were some more sea archs with the waves crashing through and another collapsed sea cave. It was all very nice but the flowers were not as colorful as though we had seen on the Russian Gulch headlands.

... 30. This particular Inn does a light buffet dinner at 5:30 which you can help yourself to and it has been enough to have as a dinner so we don't have to worry about eating out in the evening. These Inns are quite social. Normally you meet with the other residents in the lounges or at breakfast when you may sit with them too. It's interesting to talk to other travellers. The Stanford Inn treats pets as family, even providing bowls, sheets, and treats for them. It also has a fabulous vegan restaurant. Last night we had an excellent dinner and discovered a delicious local wine, Claudia Springs pinot gris. We had a relaxing, lovely day in Mendocino. First, a great vegan breakfast at the inn.
