... we get the onion rings too? It was all delicious even if our stomachs couldn't quite keep up. Nice stop, great company, easy to get to from the freeway. Thanks!

From Sturgeon Bay to Carlsville, Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay, Ellison Bay, and at the tip of the peninsula- Gill's Point. Robin and Steve were our personal tour guides. ... this late in the season, but a very nice little pub in town, the Cornerstone, has been feeding me and keeping me entertained. The first night here I stopped in to get some food and sat at the bar next to an elderly woman. She turned out to be Linda, the unofficial 'mayor' of Baileys Harbor, who knows everyone and everything. She sort of took me under her wing that first night, telling me where to go and what to see and has checked in with me each evening ...

... the late afternoon yesterday we stopped at Orchard State Beach and I got the full impact of Lake Michigan. I've got to say, I'm not sure I'm buying this 'lake' business. It's got waves, cliffs, beaches, storms, the works. I might be persuaded to call it an inland sea, but Lake? Nah. Way too impressive for a mere lake (see video if you need more evidence).
