CHICAGO TO LA, RTE.66 ALL THE WAY, IN A 66 HOT ROD CHECKER...MAY 2015

      BACKROUND

I have loved "Roadside America and Hot Rod Cars" as far back as I can remember. You might say or assume I was born with the affliction. Road trips in my dad's 1949 Road-master Buick consisted of me looking out the window at the countryside and rubber necking going through small towns and villages, playing count the cows or ...

We just stopped to cut the cheese at Grandpas Cheesebarn in Ashland,OH. Picked up some awesome cheese curds and now are back on the road! H A P P Y 5th B I R T H D A Y S A M M Y!!!!!! We had a nice casual day today. Our cabin is self contained so we had fruit loops "with fruity shaped marshmallows" in it..... and toast and choccy milk. We all jumped in the rig and drove a couple of minutes to the centre of Berlin. We parked the car and went for a walk up and down the street popping into different shops here and there. It is a little commercial in places with a lot of the quilts and patch work articles "made in ...
