    ... just topped off Maligne for colour and calm. The water was a gorgeous turquoise and so calm as the mountains shielded the lake and reflected off the water. Right next to it was Annette Lake which was just as nice. We were starting to get to the point of a lakes a lake now though! We had been through this in New Zealand as well.     Left Jasper this morning, traveling on the Icefields Parkway. Stopped for a picture of the Tangle Falls, beautiful even in the fog & drizzle. Also came upon the Icefield Discovery Centre. Had a great brunch here, overlooking the Athabasca Glacier. They have specialized buses here that take people onto the Glacier, amazing!! Continued on the parkway past beautiful Bay Lake.     As you can see from the photos, the glacier looks like an angel and it is a rather long way from the top to the lake. During our time there, we heard a number of rock falls and saw some of the glacier fall off (albeit a very small part). All part of the excitement.
