    ... hurting and the altitude took what ever breath I had left and I looked at the bottom and thought **** I've still got to go all the way back. Happy to say didn't fall off the side and my knee lived to see another day.
    The altitude at the cafe is 2300mtrs and atop of Whistlers Mountain is 2500mtrs. The trams can take 30 people at a time but we had missed all the crowds so the would have only been a 20 -30 people that I could see at the mountain. ...

    ... ahead. In a few more steps we had a clearer look of the lake and saw a bunch of people sitting there staring in the same direction. Finally, we saw a large animal, not a caribou, but a moose! It was a female moose with a small calf standing in the water. We sat on a log and observed them for a while. The animals didn't seem to care about a bunch of hikers staring at them and proceeded to calmly chew cud. ...

    ... rant, but seriously, who decides the City of Edmonton infrastructure planning? When you have construction on all major highways at the same time in addition to numerous common routes all headed in the direction of downtown....there has to be some sense of ridiculousness there? Ok, rant over.
