    On Tuesday 16th Sep we left Edmonton and began the 4hr journey to Jasper National Park. We had a quick breakfast at Extreme Pita then hit the road. The weather was beautiful so it was a pretty good road trip. When we reached the park we had to get a permit before entering then our first stop was the hot springs.     ... br> Today was the day to view glaciers whilst driving up the Icelands Parkway , we saw about ten. Plus all the mountains again, but quite a lot had cloud covering the tops, as most of the day was cloudy and misty.

    ... where near as large as some, but this in turn made it more accessible as we were able to walk around and along the river. Also it meant that we could take it all in easier than some of the canyons where the scale has been so vast it almost becomes like a painting. At the end of the walk Ni even said “that was better than the Grand Canyon”.
