Today is Wednesday, September 24. We arrived in Jasper at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday evening, our train being delayed by four or so hours due to "whatever!" After being transported to our hotel, we managed to fit in a walk from The Chateau Jasper and to enjoy a unique meal at "The Raven," before returning back to the hotel by foot. Great to walk! First thing this morning, having had another great night's sleep, one experienced ...

Last night we had a harrowing drive through the windy dark and raining Kamloops area of BC. We had ended our night last night in Merritt and we were so tired we could not drive another mile. We have driven about 500 miles a day on Sunday and Monday. Today we left early and arrived in Jasper mid afternoon. The scenery here ...

T-shirt off, flip flops kicked to one side and he was straight in there, gleeful at the temperature and happily bobbing around and splashing about. I needed just a bit more persuading but after about 5 minutes and a bit more procrastinating I was in and under the water too. We floated and swam about before heading onto the ...

... was very neat. It reminded Karen and I of driving through
Wisconsin or Colorado. We were driving
along the valley floor with the mountains on both sides of us. We were crisscrossing several rivers and
lakes. We headed into Prince George and
it was very funny that we ended up next to a Walmart again. It was the same one we went to a few weeks
before. We had journeyed out of our way
    and now we ...
