... be put to work, I was not welcomed. When I inquired as to the type of work, they changed their tune and just told me that I was able to walk around the prison and cemetery via nature trail. Also I could come back the next day during normal operating hours. For people running a tiny museum literally in the middle of nowhere, hospitality was not a strength.

... until 11:00hrs. The ride was indeed fast and easy, except for the last five miles climbing through the desert foothills. We were relieved to find plenty of water at Little Sandy Creek as the land had been completely arid for many miles. After the first 15 miles on the highway, it turned into a truly beautiful and unique ride. ... all over the place but had not seen many since Arizona. On this leg of the trip we have seen a lot of dead animals especially deer on the roadside.

When we got close to Green River which is the end (or the beginning) of Flaming Gorge the hills are multi-colored and beautiful.
