Flight on time to Genoa...bumpy landing with Ryanair and a woman shouting like we were going to crash....

Arrived at Melia Genoa, and overbooked so they sent me to 5 star Grand Hotel Savoia (lots of history).
No pool here, but gym and jacuzzi in the terrace upstairs. But they upgraded me to the Suite which is fantastic and its downtown so I walk straight to the port in 2 mins.

... hostel. The gentleman was very nice. He didn't speak English but I could manage. I'm glad I have a private room tonight. The bed is big and comfy. Hope to sleep well!! I am going to venture put and see if I can make sense of all the streets.

... all Italians. This did not come in handy when all I would yell was, "MERICA" and "Italy is awful. Let's gooo America." I slowly found out that this was not a good idea when everyone started blowing smoke to my face and a kid behind me, half my age, kicked my ankle....stupid. They were all yelling, "Stupid America" after we scored making it 1-0 in the second half, so of course I yelled back being the aggressive person that I am.
