The girl who carried out the sampling for us gave us another 5 tastings and although they were nice , there wasn't one that stood out to purchase on this occasion (surprise surprise!). In all of the other ports, the ship docked right next to the town and it was easy to immediately see and do things as soon as you got off of the ship. It was different here. Every now and then this is extended further and we get somewhere we think we’d like to live. Vancouver Island falls into this latter category. We really enjoyed Tofino, and we also enjoyed our full day here in Victoria too, probably helped a lot by it being a gorgeous sunny day by the sea.

... around the shoreline looking at the boats, yachts, canoes and seaplanes, through the various outdoor markets, and past endless restaurants and cafes. It really is a great place to visit on an early summer's day.

An early dinner, when we couldn't stretch it out any longer. Went to the 'Sticky Wicket' cricket themed pub, as we thought that might be fun, but completely forget that putting a sign outside doesn't change anything except the name. Pretty sure ...
