So, let’s look at some maps, compliments of Google. If we zoom in we see a sheltered harbour with breakwaters, so I guess that means boats, and shoreline waves & winds.

Let’s zoom in a little more … Oh, there are some scalloped beach shapes near the town & the harbour. I wonder if those are sandy beaches. ...

Mitch always wants to know what we have eaten when we are away, so Dave has been taking a photo of everything that we eat! It was driving me crazy at first, but now it's just funny. Essentially, portion size--and price--is about equal between primi and secondi, while antipasti are a bit smaller and cheaper. The difference is in the focus of the dishes. Primi are usually pastas and risotto, and sometimes soup, while secondi ...

... hours later we found ourselves sitting in the sunshine next to a fountain with the best gelato we'd ever had. I'm sure it was the gelato and not the wine talking. Will have to have some again just to be sure. Wandering around a new town can be thirsty work, come 7pm we were keen for a beer. Choosing possible the most expensive bar we got a beverage. The waitress then wanted to charge us €7 each. Cait put up an argument ...
