    Arrived in Rome early this morning. Boarded a train for Milan and then another for Genoa. Now I have to wait two hours to get on a train to Ventimiglia and then finally Nice. Phew! I have a feeling I'll be happy to see a bed at the end of the day. Not to mention a shower!

    ... delicatessen that we were able to eat (on multiple occasions) is a delight called granita. It is frozen, blended fruit with the most delicious cream on top.
