... to the Constitution. The decision made history and ultimately led to the freedom of slaves. It was another exceptional place visited on our journey.
We checked out Busch stadium where the local baseball team the St Louis Cardinals play. We checked out the City Garden which had some nice modern art, some which was accessible to simple minds like ours, some which went over our heads.
It's a nice city we enjoyed St Louis, its just a shame we didn't have ...

... pleasantries and asked where ya'll were from. I went on to explain that we were touring ballparks and had just left KC and headed to St. Louis. She smiled and said, "I beg your pardon" So I said, we are on vaycayshun. She said, "oh, that's nice, enjoy!". LOL. WE got out to the car and Bryan said, "you talk to fast, she had no idea what you were saying". Giddyup!
Bryan was able to complete his set of the beer goblet ...

... the middle of nowhere. The small towns that you pass through come and go very quickly. We stopped for lunch at a classic roadside diner in Dwight. The staff we really friendly and asked us to sign their guest book (Bobby G - your mission is to find my entry in the guest book when you are here in Sept!). I ordered a ham and turkey sandwich which came on French toast with melted cheese - it also came with a jug of Maple Syrup!!!!!! Apparently it's the American way! ...

... history of the Brewery, and information about all the other products they sell, as well as the various advertising campaigns. I was surprised about the ones I remember, even ones from the early 90p's which I guess is a victory for those who got alcohol advertisments banned during the day. I also had a look around the rather large gift shop, and managed to resist the temptaion to buy anything other than a bottle opener, before heading back out to catch the bus ...

Come on Mom ... it was not that bad!

Today Connor went to the doctor to get his 8th grade physical and his shots for our mission trip ... makes my stomach flip just thinking about it. So he went in with the understanding he would need two shots .. Hepatitis A and Tetanus. To his pleasant surprise the nurse said his Tetanus was up to date! Out ...
