Waved Nick, Emma and Charlie off this morning, they started their drive north to Buckhorn, Ontario stopping at friends and family on the way. We packed up our bags for our trip up north to Boston and Provincetown. Packed way too much in our backpacks, headed off to New York onwards to Boston via the Greyhound. i) John Harvard was not the founder of Harvard. He was a former student who donated a lot of money, thereby causing the school to be renamed Harvard University.
ii) He donated the money in 1636, not 1638.
iii) The artist had no idea what John Harvard looked like, so he modeled the sculpture after one of his friends who attended Harvard.

I got up just in time for breakfast which finishes at ten. Then it was back to bed, where I stayed half in half out till about 12. Pretty lazy but it was raining which didn't help with general motivation. Today is the first proper trousers day since NZ.
