... no engines, it was towed into the air and released to glide to the drop zone, a scary thought when the world is shooting at you and you have no defence and there was no chance of a fly around if you got it wrong

There were quite a few model stands that people had made and donated to the Museum, some were very good

However, now its back to the mundane side of life, the deep freeze packed in while we were away, the garden needs urgent attention, there's a back log of mail needing sorting, the scales are unfriendly and so on.

Why do we go away on holiday? Oh, well, Spain isn't that far away, is it!

... now my brother to!

-Hannes (brother) took me to my first ever Biergarten! Where I had...well beer? and the BIGGEST pretzel I have ever seen! That was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon!

-I saw the very odd occurrence of surfers using a bump of water in the river to surf on! It was awesome to see though! (one was really hot?) and I met a lovely family from Ireland!

... not a scratch on her, lobbed her in the garden shed with all the children's bikes, while my bike got its rightful full service (from Mark) an oil bath, a pat on the saddle and lovingly tucked up in her usual home of the utility room, ready for my next adventure!!! No not really.. . But what now??? What to do?? Rest maybe? My legs felt like they should be doing something.. Ah I know start writing my advice for a successful end to end trip...
