        ... is really the hippie capital.....just sayin...
        So on to Legget where we caught highway 1 to the coast. Beautiful drive, but not for the faint of heart or people who get car sick. We were told there are 489 turns that are done in the 1 hour drive.
        Emerged to the coast with spectacular views, but still some curvy roads. Happened upon a winery, so of course we had to stop. The most fantastic views of the ocean and good wines as well. ...

        Thelma & Louise armed with their funky new sunnies leave Ess Eff for new adventures. These new shades (3 pairs for less than $24) were bought last night as we cruised the Wharf and came across a nice Chinese woman whom neither of us could understand; but I think 'doo wan lee seat?' translated roughly as whether we wanted a receipt or not.

        ... so hard that we couldn’t see our left turn, let along whether there were cars coming in the opposite direction. Got to love the GPS, she let us turn left a ways down the road when the rain had let up a bit. Stopped in at the McDonalds in a lightning storm to have our Iced Mocha and search the net for a place to stay.
