I've never been so happy to leave a hotel. This place was a DUMP.

We stopped by Point Reyes national park for some (more) good views, but mostly just enjoyed the scenery along route 1.

The dogs are doing well, as is the camper. We're happy Caspar is getting the help he needs, but sad to see him go.

We found a neat campsite with a beautiful ocean view (Caspar beach rv park), and settled for the night. Campfire w/ BBQ and beer. Life is good.

On the way down a hugh metal barrel thing fell off a cement truck a couple cars ahead in the next lane over!!! I was driving and as I and everyone else was swerving and slamming on brakes...I was thinking "uh oh..this is how pile-ups happen!" Amazingly...no one seemed to hit it while we were ...

... is a three hour trip on an old time train that runs from Willits to Fort Bragg. We took a day trip to Fort Bragg. This was a 33 mile drive that took and hour and a half! We drove up and down the mountain, around a hundred curves and at least four switch backs. Along the way, we saw our first Redwood trees and magnificent vistas and views. At ...

... to catch an old episode to see what I saw today. Nice and sunny and fairly warm. We visited another lighthouse (what else does one do on the coast)? The surf is still pretty well churned up which makes for great pictures. The town is cute, but not sure what these people do for a living and we see lots of young families here as well as the older folks and one or two bums!!

We are currently in the town ...
