... we've started the trip. It has been a planned meal all along and we have continued to say we needed to get some buns for them. Today, we finally decided to cook them here at the campground, so Steve went to the campground store and found a pack. We grilled the Bratwurst on Steve's new grill and ate in tonight. We started planning our day in Memphis and then watched movies on TV. Lights out at ...
... was already filling up. We found our 'good' seats (wayyyyy in the back). Oh well, we could still see really well. The show was really good and was a mixture of rock and roll, blues and country. After the show we headed to McDonald's for some french fries for Margaret, along with everyone else in Branson with a 'trainee' taking the orders... it took forever. Back at the MH we all snacked and went to bed around ...
... one there. It got pretty warm, so we stopped and went back to camp to clean up before going into Eureka for a bit.
At we were leaving camp, the horn sounded that they were getting ready to release water again.
We drove to EurekaSpring by way of Beaver so we could go over the bridge there. It is a beautiful, old, single lane structure.
After we got to Eureka Springs, we parked at the trolley parking lot and took it down into town.
Since Don had an appointment in Lowell today.. We got up and got ready to go to town for the day.
The appointment was for 10:00 so we left camp around 8:45 or so.
While he was at the appointment, I did a bit of shopping.
Finally done with appointment, we met Jen at Chilies for lunch. We had fajitas with enough left over for ...
Later in the afternoon we found thay had stopped generating at the dam and the river level had dropped....so we got our things and did a little fishing at the place right down from our camp. No bites, nibbles, or sighting of a trout!
But was nice nun the less.
Dinner tonight was grilled pork chops
and veggies with Qunioua.
It seems a bit warmer ...
