... our beer with the safe knowledge that we'd a roof on our heads for the night - ironic that we'd lugged the tents all around Spain and France and not needed them and then the first night away without them ad it was looking like we'd really need them. By then it was getting a bit late and the hotel was not offering any meals that night so we decided to stay in an just have some liquid calories to keep us going till breakfast time in the morning.
Sat in departure lounge, gate opens in 10 minutes. Generally feeling exhausted, hoping I'll fall straight to sleep & wake up to a flight attendant saying we're there! Have had 1 little flutter of excitement, if I don't have butterflies by the time I step off the plane there's something wrong with me! Right then, off I go - worldwide blogging from here ...
... my fingers get in the way so this vet offered to take her into the back with her “properly trained in handling irate animals” personnel so they could examine her. Less than 10 minutes later, they were back. The vet said they couldn’t touch her or get her out of the cage! I fell asleep for ten minutes earlier
