... Mitch spied (from across the road) a silver Ferrari Spider. I gave him permission to take a photo- but the next thing we see is the owner of the car inviting Mitch to sit in whilst he takes a photo of Mitch in the car!

The kitchen area was huge and they had it set up for tudor times complete with roaring fire with about 7 turning spits in front of the fire for cooking on. Cycling along the river allowed us to check out the locks, there was one which had two locks side by side: one was an old push style lever lock with the old hand ratchets while the other was a fully mechanised pinion and rack geared system the same as the set up we'd seen in just about all of the French canals that we'd been on.
