Oh the dream .. Flight put back... Longer in the free bar !!!!! Greg xx Well I'm sure you have gathered we have arrived at the airport. Got moved to an earlier flight as the weather conditions have put all flights back but looks as if we will not be leaving any time soon. We might need carrying on the plane at this rate. Free bar and food!!! Hopefully be off soon ...

In true form, we are already racking up the mems ( as billy would call them)! TSA did not find it comical to discover a bullet as moms keychain for her rape whistle- in case someone got frisky on the plane! Luckily she found an agent with a sense of humor and she was leet through. 2 1/2 hour late departure added to an already bum numbing 9 hour flight. We're in jolly ol' England now, promise to add pics ...

We got to Farnham and the place was mobbed with cars - we cycled around following the cycle route then we realised that we were heading out of town so we headed back into town to look for somewhere to stay. We tried following signs for the tourist info centre but we ended up lost as the sign pointed to the middle of nowhere (we've certainly been here ...

We then went into the Chapel of St Peter, which still has services every Sunday. This is where all the people are buried, but it fell into disrepair but when Queen Victoria visited it, the floor was so uneven she fell over. She ordered the Chapel to be restored and the bodies to be reburied in a crypt along side the chapel. They were also ordered to try to identify as many of the bodies as they could, these names were listed ...

... very exotic. Asparagus is in season here at the moment and looks wonderful. I really like the Scottish smoked salmon - it has a much more subtle flavour than the Tasmanian.

Back at the flat, cooked tea, tried the French wine - Beaujolais and another one - Grenache - very nice. Polished off the cheese and nibbles and then went to bed.
