... br> As we contemplated our impending life in Zimbabwe, we considered the lessons we may learn from the colonial trailblazers in Williamsburg: Devika hooted and hollered, celebrating the freedom to use her "outside voice;" Neela embodied the Protestant work ethic as she doggedly wiggled her first loose tooth; Chaaya was the very personification of British stoicism as she admirably withstood a wicked yellow jacket sting with barely a whisper. Our work here was done. ...

... will begin our drive to Colorado. We will spend a few days with my cousin and his wife. And then on Monday, November 3, we will board the California Zephyr to arrive home on Tuesday afternoon. We were scheduled to arrive here by 6:15 until...... The train stopped! Along our travels people have made comments about trains being late. We had never really ...

... take some time to do chores and for Ted to mount the new to us car top carrier on top of Sparky. Ted also has some things he boss has requested to prepare that he needs to send tomorrow.

The traffic was thick and slow all the way there and we arrived just as the sun was just about gone. We are getting good doing everything in the dark.

We had some dinner and set up the bed with the new self-inflating pad and hoped for the best. We also had cable ...

... Greg, very much out of his comfort zone in the 1700's, upset that he paid money to get here and not interested in joining in and teaching the girls about the days that were. So, with grumpy feelings from everyone we continued on. It was a huge area of land that we covered. Walking from street to street. We stopped to see how wooden barrels and buckets were made. The girls tried lifting the buckets, and couldn't imagine how difficult it would have been to carry the heavy ...
