... and have a nice view of the pass. From here we wobbled and rattled our way into Lynden, as the RV gets some serious shaking going on when we hit between 45-50 miles per hour. We are glad we made it into Lynden drama free and all wheels still in tow. We all packed our suitcases as the RV is to e services tomorrow and we have no idea how long it'll be away for. ... The roads after the crossing were very small and wove through farm country. It surprised us that coming into the USA was so rural, but that's the way it was.

We found our campground and settled in - glad to be "home" again. We detached the car so that we could do some grocery shopping and the car wouldn't start! It was a long trip over a mountainous terrain today, so we used the Brake Buddy a lot ...

It was nice having 2 nights to rest up. We saw the Oregon Gardens and Silver Falls State Parks. Very wooded, cool and the Falls were pretty. Not as high as Yosemite, but they flow over volcanic ledges...very interesting. Reminds me of Burney Falls out of Lassen Park.

We had to go thru 2 major cities today. Portland and then Seattle ...with traffic, but we hit them at a good ...
