    Onward to Canada!

We headed out toward Canada slow and steady. We needed to get the air conditioner cover put back on Sparky. We weren't sure if we had stressed out the air conditioner because it was missing and that is why it continued to throw the breaker, or if it just can't run continuously in the heat. We texted Sheree's brother Rick who lives in Idaho Falls and asked if we could stop by on our way through to Canada and use his ladder. He was at work but ...

... rear discovered, with lagging calves and some cows even laying down for a rest with the herd still plodding on around them. All were rewarded by the stunning sight of lush green grass emerging from the dusty scrub as we topped the hill and reached our final destination, creating a postcard scene, happy cows and lots of smiling but achy cowboys.

The town that now showed all the steaming signs of five hundred cows and horses is a nice town. Seemingly run on ...

... nice person returned it to the lift operator. We worked our way over to the Dakota lift then had lunch. After lunch we ended up taking the Challenger lift up only to find ourselves stuck in a blizzard. The chairs were damb near blowing sideways as we hung about 50 ft above the ground. Once at the top we had to traverse down the face of a dble black (Little Tree) in the blowing snow. That was it for us and it was Dads Miller Time. A great trip all in ...
