    ... would ride a bull for the first time and the crowd really got behind him. Hw actually ended up doing really well and made about 5 seconds on the bulls back. We really enjoyed watching the skill of the clowns and riders who worked hard to keep the contestants safe. There is almost no need for me to add to the inevitable mental picture of a 1700s gold mining town. The pinkish mountains soon turned to their normal white and grey as we continued to push the somewhat reluctant cows down the highway and up the dusty hill, rooting them out of driveways, shop entrances and side roads as we went.
