    Onward to Canada!

We headed out toward Canada slow and steady. We needed to get the air conditioner cover put back on Sparky. We weren't sure if we had stressed out the air conditioner because it was missing and that is why it continued to throw the breaker, or if it just can't run continuously in the heat. We texted Sheree's brother Rick who lives in Idaho Falls and asked if we could stop by on our way through to Canada and use his ladder. He was at work but ...

The handpainted wooden shop signs proclaim the wares of the still ...

... rear discovered, with lagging calves and some cows even laying down for a rest with the herd still plodding on around them. All were rewarded by the stunning sight of lush green grass emerging from the dusty scrub as we topped the hill and reached our final destination, creating a postcard scene, happy cows and lots of smiling but achy cowboys.

The town that now showed all the steaming signs of five hundred cows and horses is a nice town. Seemingly run on ...

    Big Sky

A travel blog entry by lawrenceporter on Mar 07, 2009

Big Sky, Took a very rough and bumpy flight to Bozeman. Rented a little ****** foreign car (Suburu) that wouldnt stop buzzing and chiming at me. Next morning we woke up and drove down to BS in the snow. From what I could see Montana was exactly as I pictured it, Mountainous and wild. We had virgin snow under our boards for the first few runs on blues (all off Swift Current lift). I dropped my phone while going down my first black of the day (Mad Wolf) ...
