... entrance under the shade. Around noon we headed out to do some wine tasting around Seneca lake. It was a bit nostalgic for me cause we were last here on my birthday a few years back on a trip with my brother to cheer him on during the Wine glass marathon...that was one of my favorite birthday weekends! After the walk we went down to the lake and had a swim, the weather had improved and it was sunny, but the lake was really cold! Had a nice swim though, and the played frisbee with the group. It was really nice ...

... came across several work barges and work boats. They are putting some type of pipeline in the canal and have dredging equipment everywhere. The canal isn't that wide, so when you come across one of these situations you have to be very careful when passing them. They often have cables stretching across the canal to other pieces of equipment.
