After a very very wet night we left our campsite in the morning to head to Christchurch. The sun was shining and the ground not too wet, but the water levels had risen creating a ford for us to cross! ... Josef-Gletscher hat uns nicht so beeindruckt, da er schon ziemlich weggeschmolzen ist. Auf dem Weg zum Gletscher waren immer wieder Schilder, auf denen zu lesen war, in welchem Jahr der Gletscher bis zu diesem Punkt war. Das letzte Schild war ungefaehr 2km vor dem Gletscher aus dem Jahr 1935. Soviel zur Klimaerwaermung.
