      October 10: The day started off a little stessful. We were supposed to be out the door for the hotel's breakfast buffet at 7:30 but didn't leave the room until 8. That small window proved to cause a domino effect. We missed one of our hotel's water taxis and then jumped on the wrong public water taxi and had to back track 20 minutes to then switch to another water taxi that then got us to the train station.       ... to the Vatican. I was so excited and running late (surely not me!!) and fell down the flippin stone stairs!!! My only thought was "no! I have so much walking to do today!" That I forgot to try and break my fall - I was still pre-coffee and breakfast, in my defence. Luckily still made the shuttle!       ... and had way too much fun on that. We had the option of going into the city again in the evening for dinner and karaoke, but I was pretty beat, and wanted to do my laundry.
