    ... where the lady was so helpful and pointed out many places that we did not have on our map yet. The first being a pharmacy. Yes you read that correctly a pharmacy. This pharmacy began in the 14th century when the monks sold rose water as a remedy for the plague. It has since grown and is a real pharmacy selling specialty fragrances, soaps, liqueurs and more.     After this I went south east to the museo dell bargello, a museum of 'renaissance sculpture', it was brilliant. Michaelangelo, donatello, plus others all eventually contributed to the collection here, im definitely getting too excited by marble statues now! The detail in them is fascinating; cloth, hair, today some grapes, yesterday a horses tail are all so amazingly carved and flowing.

    ... more interested in seeing pictures of massive compressors being built, but the Vendor's strict confidentiality policy and worry over losing its competitive edge forbids any outsiders from taking photos anywhere inside of its campus.     (Sunday) We have settled in quite nicely and can't believe this will be our home for a month. Our early birds woke Karen and Becky up with bruschetta and Capuccino (and the waft of pizza).
