... went behind the Fountain of Neptune towards the church of Santa Croce (featured in the movie). I had little flashbacks of Denholm Elliott giving a tour to HB Carter and Julian Sands evading a fast-talking salesman by dropping to his knees in prayer. In addition to being gorgeous inside and out, Santa Croce is where Galileo was buried not once, but twice. Machiavelli, Rossini and Dante both have found eternal rest there as well. It is apparently a very prestigious place to ...

... though because it is known for it's colorful houses. Each house was a different bright color, so it finally fulfilled the picture of Venice that i had in my head. It was absolutely picturesque. We didn't have much time in either place though because we had to make it back to Venice by 4 for our train back to Florence. Overall it was amaaazing seeing Venice, and i absolutely loved it, but i'm so happy to be back in Florence. :)

... before we returned the car. This was quite the adventure as all the streets are one ways (and clearly not meant for cars) and all the cars park on one side of the street. Of course, there was no parking. Hannah got out to find and meet our house. When she was sure we had the right place, she waved to Kyle. The second he got a chance he pulled some quick maneuvers and reversed down the street and up onto the curb in front of the ...
