Let me start off by saying I hate writing, I am not good at it, I am solely doing this so that my family and friends can follow me as I go along on this trip. Also, I was recently given a book that made me unfortunately aware of the million and one very likely possible ways I could die while I am there. So I figured this would be a good way to update my loved ones and let me them know I am surviving the the vast unknown that is Australia. I am on the ...

... warehouse looking terminal that took me back to the secondary airport in Rome that I flew in and out of with Ryanair. Just a huge area with cramped seating and a million people trying to board and de-plane out of all these tiny gates with no jet bridges. It seemed as though every flight was delayed as well. If you are flying out of Houston on a United Express flight you definitely want to get a lower-numbered B gate as those are much newer and ...

Maxwell Street Market & Table, Donkey & Stick

A travel blog entry by wheresgordon on May 19, 2013

... from Chicago. He had heard good things about a relatively new restaurant called Table, Donkey & Stick so we were going to give it a try. Their menu is relatively small and there aren't many vegetarian items. We shared a couple cheese plates and I ordered the only vegetarian entree. The dinner was fine but I'm sure we could have come up with a better ...
