Traveled to Hot Springs today. Erin did most of the driving. We hiked in Gulpha Gorge campground for just a bit and the rest of the time was spent creeking. Even Charlie got in on the action. The Miss Arkansas pageant is being held in downtown Hot Springs. We may head into downtown tomorrow to check out the sights. The campground is nice but quiet. You'll have that during the work week. We'll probably hit the pool tonight after dinner. ...
... itself is very cool. Part of a national park but like a big gravenhurst sorta place but has big bath house buildings from the 1800"s.

To day we got up kinda early went down stairs had breakfast check if my bathing suit top was there but it wasn't there so we knocked on there door and no one was there so we left the hotel we got ...
... Our entire time together was perfect in every way. The weather cooperated nicely for us except for the first two evenings when it sprinkled but only during dinner time…the perils of camping! But then, the brief rain provided us with a most spectacular rainbow across the lake. There were no mosquitoes. We found almost every geocache we hunted. The 2 ...
... houses. Only a couple of the bathhouses were open. Seemed as if everything was being renovated. You'd think the National Park Service would have done a better job of timing the renovations, so that they weren't all being done at the same time. There was no checkpoint to drive into the park as with Yellowstone or the Arches, etc... nothing to see.
One interesting tidbit was the hot springs don't come from a volcanic ...
