... to the Brooklyn side we walked through the parklands under the bridge and found a great little restaurant to have some dinner. It was a lovely oasis in the middle of the city. Returning to the Manhattan side we caught a ferry and then the subway getting back to the ship after 11pm. What a long day. On our second day in the city we chose to walk to Central Park. ... We hopped off the ferry back on Manhattan Island and decided to walk up to Wall Street and see the NY Stock Exchange. We headed up Whitehall Street and saw a 'Chipotle' store. It was well and truly lunchtime and we got to enjoy a nice burrito and a few bottomless drinks (more than a few as it was so hot). ... a lot of compassion to the families left behind who had to come to terms with this terrible event. The site also heralds a positive future and new beginnings whilst never forgetting those that were lost. It was a very touching and thought provoking site.
