... are guaranteed shots of the Statue of Liberty en route. Loads of other tourists had the same idea too. We crossed the harbour and sailed majestically by the Statue under a cold and cloudy sky. The old girl was suitably blue and green and the occasional glinting sun highlighted her torch. We could look back at the Manhattan skyline; we've now become quite used to craning our necks upwards to the dizzying heights of some of the scrapers. It was good for once to see ...

As a surprise Peach had tried to organise having the bar staff bring out a drink from her… they didn’t seem very receptive to the idea, so we recreated her plan for her. After listen to some music, we walked back to the hotel. Fun fact: The Freedom Tower is 1776 feet tall and sits on the site of one of the World Trade Centre buildings that were destroyed in ...

... hopefully my last. It wasn't all that bad, but I still don't want to be a frequent visitor. A discount at the HBO store was all that was needed to lure us off the bus and spend a little spending money on some of our favourite TV show merchandise. A quick trip down the street to Macy's and Mike found himself spending more money on some long sort after tees and a new watch. You find us now (Sunday) on the train to Washington DC. It's amazing how a 3 and a half ...
