I love having the chance to get out of London to some of the other beautiful places England is known for. My adventures today took me to Oxford, England. Oxford, being known for one of the utmost prestigious colleges my the world, was more than I expected. I guess I simply didn't realize that there was much of anything there except for a college. The entire time, I felt as if I were reliving the set of Harry Potter. As we were walking through the streets, students ...

... were sculptures made from salt. There were 3 levels and on the third level was a full cathedral, carved out of salt, 100m underground!! Pretty crazy stuff!! The tour was 2 hours so got a bit boring towards the end but was still cool to see. After the mines we decided to check out Oskar Schindlers factory but it closed early on a Monday which was annoying coz we had walked so far to get there! Ed's parents were staying with us for the evening, but were out and about exploring Chipping Norton when I arrived. The house was much less suburban than I had pictured it, only a block from the "high street" or heart of Chipping Norton. Looking at it from ...

... already - i'd burn the bxxxxxd; punch bag here i come....ahhhh!......i could scan it onto the computor i suppose, nah!! it can be a collector of dust in my mum's loft instead, moving on!

apart from that its my first day of voluntary unemployment and it's, ah, slightly surreal and a tad tiring; i think i have finally given myself permission to relax a little. I've got my new netbook, very handy.
