... that turned into a saga - we tried several places that looked fine on the internet but were absolute **** when we arrived - and then after spending half an hour grid locked in traffic we eventually found a place near Universal Studios which had 2 rooms available! ... the Star Wars themed fireworks which were a marvellously fitting finale to the day and the last two weeks. Cliff's car refuelled on the way home and took a very interesting but scary detour through downtown and thanks to a confused sat nav, tunnelled under some of the tallest skyscrapers seen today. ... of the game and I must admit that I agree with Hinesh in saying that the US were the better team after the first five minutes. The golden boy could not fire up and only contributed his cross for the equalising goal in the last seconds of the match.
