Everyone looks as thought they have something to keep them busy, at least for now. Most have been relatively quiet (either listening to music, watching something on their iPads, or sleeping). ... of our cabin numbers. I asked why they did that. She said that if there were more than two bottles they would charge 15% corkage. I asked if two was the norm and she said yes and no corkage would be charged but the passengers before us had 8 bottles and she sent details of that to the ship – presumably the front desk. I wonder how they determine 15% for wine carried on board and if they don’t charge if you don’t open them ….Oh well….

The day before yesterday we spent the whole afternoon playing beach-volleyball which was pretty funny, though greatly exhausting, at least for sport-freaks like me ;)

Maybe even more fun we had yesterday than we decided to visit the apartment of a student who lives with a friend from Switzerland. This friend's flat is in a relative high skyscraper in Downtown with its own shop, jacuzzi, sauna, pool, fitness ...

Disneyland - the happiest place on Earth

... to enter a car park. The car park offered a shuttle for the lazy people (everyone) but we walked as it was less than a 10 minute walk. Took about half n hour to get tickets, but as we entered the gates at 1pm the man welcomed us "to the happiest place on Earth" so it all became worth the wait. We relaxed even more when we discovered that the park was open until midnight, so we had plenty of time. Queued for our first ride, Pirates of ...

Of course we had a day at Disneyland! Like everything in LA it was quite a trek, taking 50 minutes to get to, and unfortunately it was Spring break here, so the crowds were huge. Still we had a great day going on all our favorite Disney rides and taking in all the magic. As the Park is 50 years old, there are no big thrill rides but that's what makes it unique.
