... city we made before we crossed over into Michigan. We did a little antique shopping and stopped in at a museum which was a converted CNW railroad depot. It had a nice mix of railroad memorabilia and community history stuff. Also found out about a nice hobby shop located about 10 miles south in Three Lakes, so we took a short detour to do some more shopping. Had a fairly nice selection of stuff, although a little thin in the N scale department.

... and Scandinavia Shop and enjoyed drinks at Mariner North. We also stopped a the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge, which was built 75 years ago during the Great Depression by miners and craftsmen as a way to raise spirits of people post-depression. The buildings are set back in time and the resort still has the same charm as when they opened.
