I spent a lovely week in Cornwall over Christmas seeing my Mum each day and visiting various towns and villages near the Lizard where I was staying. ... The 2 seals approached the sandy beach and spent some time rolling around in the waves, getting washed up and back. They rolled around each other and were kind of play fighting, until one kept trying to get on top of the other. Mating season?! We watched for ages before tearing ourselves away to continue on the coast path. We embraced a very early start to bomb it over to the lovely Cornwall, and our first stop was Lizards Point. Right out on the peninsula and the furthest point South in England, it is a beautiful spot. We wandered down to the view point and checked out an old RNLI station, before having a ramble round the clifftops along the coastpath taking in the stunning views.
