The light is operated by the Coast Guard so that part is off limits but there is a small lookout at the top of the house. One can see Connecticut across the bay.

... at this cute fishing village/town. Checked into the room - ok for 1 night. Ate at the tavern as our reservation for the restaurant didn't eventuate. I did book via an email, but god knows what happened. In hind sight, it was a blessing, as the restaurant was really loud and full of old people as Rod put it, and the tavern was quieter and more to our liking. $107 food, wine and tips. I had kept on my laptop, I wasn't warned there could be a chance of data loss, and my laptop wouldn't turn on in the first place for me to be able to back it up, so that sucks but I argued with them in the store that it wasn't my fault and they should have explained there was a chance of data loss blah blah blah, and I came out of the store with a free external hard drive worth about £150! I can't get my stuff back, but it's better than a kick in the ...
... grow pumpkins big here, some were ginormous!!! They had all different kinds as well plus tons of weird gourds and squashes. I got to push a little wheelbarrow around and we all picked some out. I ended up with a perfectly spherical little guy and a pumpkin/squash, they're called Rosie and Jim. Scott and I also went in the corn maze (technically that's a good play on words there).
