Erin Phillips is a new signing for the Merc this year and is a bench spark plug and played about 20mins last week but brings a lot of energy and hustle, which is always great to see! :)

It is also season 1 for head coach Sandy Brondello and she is going well and great to see Aussies coach in the big time! :)

Seattle Storm has Jenna O'Hea on their roster, obtained in a trade from Los Angeles ...

What a surprise - only a 15-20 minute drive north of all the restaurants, park models, shopping, and traffic, and here we are in a beautiful desert environment, surrounded by cacti and beautiful views everywhere we look! It feels NOTHING like the area we left behind - feels so remote!

... Taz so I was relieved that he was a very well behaved walker. Towards the end of the walk Mel was carrying Dallas and Taz wanted to lay down in the I think they had enough exercise for the day.

Later we met up with Candice and Joey for a delicious dinner at Barrio Cafe. I keep saying I need to stop eating so much food...well I've officially given up. I'll eat healthy when I get home...maybe. :)

... br> It was such an amazing trip and we feel so lucky to have such a great time and great weather (it probably rained on us 15 minutes the whole week!). We can’t thank our friends Zack and Jenn for house sitting for us, I think they left the house cleaner than what it was they took it over!

We need to now unpack, do laundry, get groceries and settle back in. We both plan to do a couple more re-cap blogs in addition to one on the house.
