A 13-century church built on a 10-century cemetery and site, it housed original paintings on which Michelangelo worked, and stained glass windows, frescos, sculptures and tombs from the 11-16 centuries. What's up Florence?!
... has shops that line both sides of the bridge except for the very middle for sightseeing. One thing that was really cool was the small gate surrounding a statue at the viewpoint had at least a hundred padlocks linked to it with names printed on it. The tradition is to take your partner and put a lock on the gate then throw the key in the water. Very romantic but if you get caught they will charge you 50€ haha.
