Today was great because we only had to drive 20 minutes in between our destinations! Definitely the shortest one ever. We spent the first half of the morning enjoying the park. They have some bike trails so we got our the bikes and took a bike ride around and back to the Upper Falls as well as the Lower falls. This area of Texas is in a drought right now so the falls were not very active, but we still had fun exploring around the rocks. After lunch we drove ...

... we would take advantage of the spring weather, and visit Texas before it warms up too much. We have long wanted to get to Big Bend National Park, and this will be one of the main destinations in coming days, but beforehand - on the recommendation of many - we'll spend a few days in Austin, the Texas Hill coountry (great spring wildflowers) and San Antonio.
