... and this was by far the best year for apples yet.

My host family has their own pressing system, complete with shredder, press, and all. We had already made about 75 liters of juice, but with the pressing, pasteurization and canning processes this took three days. We all enjoyed a sleep in. As it was raining we decided to ride the bikes into the city centre for some final sightseeing and shopping.

First we had a shopping expedition in Karlstaadt Sports. After a few hours and 4 pairs of shoes and 2 shirts we got away on our walking trip.
