As is almost a tradition, I once again returned to Bremen this winter for a good old catch up with my besties in Germany.

Having only got back from Israel around 2½ weeks earlier, and almost exactly repeating the trip from 2012, I flew out on a Thursday afternoon from Stansted and returned on the Monday night - However this time as I was working, I did a half day in the morning, before driving and parking at the airport, ...

After a restful nights sleep with no trains waking us we woke up fresh ready for more fun. We set off to take a look at Neil's old Army camp in Gutersloh and then on to Osnabruck to see where I used to live. It was absolutely wonderful, and a fantastic way to end ...

I was amazed that the Police had it all mopped up within maybe 10-15 mins, and the traffic was again flowing - very impressive....
Now we are safely ensconced here ...

... rusty German again. I then walked through much of the Überseestadt, before making my way to the Waterfront shopping centre, where shopping for CDs unavailable at home became my next priority. I then took the tram back to the city centre, on which I bumped into Manon, a French Erasmus student who was also revisiting the city that weekend. Back in the city centre the lovely Christmas Markets were on, which is such a lovely atmosphere, and after taking a ...
