    ... to Belas Knap an ancient monument. If the English use the descriptor 'ancient' you know it's really old. They are pretty liberal with 'antique', 'aged' and terms like 'ye olde' but ancient means that - ancient. Belays Knap is 'just' a mound that was uncovered by a farmer,whilst ploughing his field but it's dated at 5500 BC and contains the remains (as if they would alive!) of at least 5 individuals.     ... seating and obviously both could sit there and watch you play. Even if they didn't watch the entire match (perhaps before you go out to bat) they could could go next door to the tennis Center and have a hit. Sure it's not Wimbledon but it must rank being so close to the SCG. The SCG has a magnificent surface (really) and it is mown and kept in playing condition. I've included a couple of shots of the pavilion.

    Woke up to the sound of rain battering the van, so went back to sleep! Eventually got up the sun was shining but it was still spitting and the mountains had disappeared into the clouds. We head off from school to the cemetery to pay a visit to Tor's father, Psul's good mate Frank, who passed away 20 years ago October just gone, aged only 51. His sister, Jane, who Paul also lived with for a bit, also passed away young, only 52, she is buried with their father, Frank Senior, who passed at only 45. Far, far too young, the lot of them. Nice to pay respects. Mac has lots of questions, especially as Jane is buried, ...
