    Sun is shining, grass is green ...... Well it is now. Nathan and Bob have laid the new lawn and it looks fab. Planted some annuals in the beds, baskets are ordered, and Hank has just picked up our new patio set. All looks fab. Had dinner out in the garden. Happy days ...

    I love travel. When I was 15 a group of my closest mates who were in their early 20s went to the US and spent 2 months travelling and working. I was invited, but age and no money excluded me from that adventure. At the time I was gutted, I remember they left as friends and returned as kindred spirits, reciting stories of encounters, failures and conquests.     ... over the centuries. The Cathedral is huge and houses so much history, for example the tombs of King John I and Prince Arthur as well as the crypt of St Wulfstan. We spent a good hour or more exploring the Cathedral and truly enjoyed our visit.

    Tomorrow we continue with our history lessons and will drive towards Leicester to the village of Market Bosworth to join in the commemoration for the reinterment of King Richard ...

    ... the walkway were a welcome change to the hot sun and as we meandered along the leafy path we came across a couple of guys who had probably had a liquid lunch and decided to sleep it off sprawled out along the side. The locals are just not used to this heat... I don't blame them!
    We finally made it home after a great day to relax for the evening ...

    Yesterday, Wednesday, was a cold miserable day. Low cloud all day and cold and windy. The drain from the sink froze up as did the cold and hot water supply. All these pipes run under the van to the kitchen and are obviously not very well protected against the cold. Hot and cold water was OK in the toilet as those pipes run through the inside of the van. Within an hour the cold water came back but the hot only arrived today as it ...
