    ... kitchen table holding hands. Lunch was at a restaurant called da Sandra. Everyday our uncle eats out for lunch with an entree and a main meal. Lori and I had vegetable soup with bread for entree. We couldn't eat a proper main as we had morning tea, those beautiful pastries that our Aunty brought from her town barga.     I am now 50 and a day and I know why I wanted to be in Italy. Let me tell you why!

    ... very cheap. $10 for a bowl of ravioli filled with ragu and a couple of glasses of red. She works as a family councilor for Jewish families dealing with the aftermath of the holocaust 2 and 3 generations on. The impact it continues to have on family life is still huge obviously. It was really fascinating. She also has two sons living in Sydney working in television and production. It was neat!!!

    The charm of Lucca still eludes me a little, but I am warming to it. ...
