... 20 year olds hanging out in what I would call gothic attire. As I was doing laundry they would in turn just scream - not in pain or for help, just like releasing frustration at the world. My thought is maybe they are just trying to scare the tourists - it was beginning to work on me. I finished and ensured I was on the other side of the street with other tourists when I passed this crew. Made it to the hotel, and had a nice club sandwich and beer at the Dominican Hotel. ... fixed up my iPad and securely stored my photos. It was raining when we tried to leave for the Y.C. So our families with cars have very kindly been ferrying us back and forth. Daryl has gone back to the club to wait for the boys and we'll get into dinner preparation soon. It should be a quieter, earlier night tonight - I may even get some of The Last Englishman read. Au revoir for now, ...

... If you are reading this blog - I will let you work it out. The boys got their backpacks filled or a grocery bag to carry back on the tram to the cabin. The eggs made it but we forgot milk. Luckily, I was able to get a ride with the Goodfellows who had just arrived and needed to also go stock up for the next two days. They have hired a car so I directed them to another supermarket, the Okay brand! It was more like a small warehouse with lots more selection than the Carrefour ...
