... to eat with it. On our platter we had Danish meatballs, red cabbage, pickled *something*, pork fried with mushrooms and onions, and a fried egg. Yum.

After lunch we visited the nearby free Danish resistance museum, which was very informative. The museum (as expected) details the Danish resistance to the Nazis in WW2, but we learnt about the actual events, the role of the British OSS, and the significance of late war sabotage ...

... not wanting to miss out on such a stylish city. Mim got sized up for a very nice hat by milliner and had to be steered away. It was an amazing shop and the milliner's wooden hat molding tools were all out on the floor. We thought this very atmospheric but it turned out to be because they were there to dry out after some bad flooding in Copenhagen recently. ... it gave you the feeling that you were stepping back in time and the craftsmanship of the home was superb. Had salmon for the first time and really liked it. We were met by two very lovely friends and a very special surprise, Bea's Aunt, Uncle and cousins.

We had a very lazy Sunday evening,with all of Bea's friends, with typical Danish lunch, great food.

We have both slept well.

Today we will go and put some eel traps in the water, do a spot of shopping, including some beer and take some photo's of some seriously wierd Danish buildings.

... to Tivoli Gardens, which is a small amusement park that has been around for over 160 years. Once inside we saw a small ballet on one stage. Then we had some hot dogs in flute buns before walking around the rest of the park. Eventually we just sat on a bench and read for a little while.
