... When it was time to go upstairs we were taken to the 18th level which was also the terrace. We were welcomed with a glass of Moet and walked into this room where the entire ceiling was covered in light bulbs. Top of the Rock was great. Nico enjoyed it too. He wasn't sure about the elevator (when in America...) at first, but it does only take 43 seconds to get to the top, and they have a little light show going on on the ceiling whilst you "travel". Great views of NYC - Central Park and ...

... We then walked to Central Park from Times Square, and saw and did many of the things I had only read about. The only down to the day was when we got back and found our room to be two double beds instead of the king that I thought I had paid for. They were completely booked and "might" be able to move us on Tuesday. But we went to the Statue on Tuesday and got back just in time to get ready for our play. So we stayed put.
