We hopped on the subway from Central Park and headed straight to the site of the World Trade Center as we feel its necessary to get some perspective on such a thing. It's a very somber place and I was a little sickened to see people trying to sell souvenirs to try and make money from it. ... a section where you can sit and relax and it has perspex overlooking the Manhattan roadway. Not sure why really, but a lot of people are having fun with it and we take some happy-snaps too. After we leave the High-line, we walk through Chelsea then get the subway back to East Village to complete our epic ice-cream hunt. I neglected to mention yesterday that our guide on the Greenwich Village tour recommended the Big Gay Ice Cream Shop for unique ice creams ...
