... and the Ricky Martin magazine on the coffee table. Benicio comes out of the change room with one pair that he likes. YEAH! I pay for the linen shorts and walk out giggling. Benicio tells me he knew that he'd bought shorts in adult menswear shop. We laugh it out and suddenly I realize that I'm very proud of my very mature young son at 13.

Tonight he chose a small Mexican restaurant, where mama loads up ...

... we decided to drag our suitcases towards down town to try and find one.

Robyn was despairing when a cab pulled over and the driver yelled "Taxi?" We climbed aboard, told him our destination, and headed to the rail station.

... through and could leave the dock in under 2 hours. As we were not allowed back on the ship until all passengers had been processed we decided to take the opportunity to walk to Times Square. Being docked at pier 90 this was only a few blocks away. What a buzz it was! People everything, noise, lights, cars, road works. I loved it.
