... city, we were able to walk off the ship, and walk into town. The streets of old Genoa are narrow ones that snake up the hillside. This was great, because there wasn’t a lot of vehicular traffic. It just made for tough pictures because the narrow streets were shaded by buildings. There is a lot of gorgeous architecture in Genoa. We really enjoyed just walking around and taking it all in.

Miles from our hotel , on Settembre in the center of Genoa, we took a bus to our neighborhood where we stopped for a pizza and people watching. It’s interesting to watch the locals. Many are carrying their retail purchases in one hand and a motorcycle helmet in the other.
Tomorrow we plan the visit Cinque Terre which is the Italian equivalent of the French Riviera so stay tuned.
