... have been 1km long) the longest queue I've ever seen. So glad we went early!!! One of the things I didn't like about Paris, other than crossing the road was the pick pocketers. Only place in Europe we actually saw them but they were out. They looked like gypsies. A bit dirty looking & most were young Romanians. After the cruise we walked up the street to the Eiffel Tower and took a look around so that when we came back later we would be able to navigate to the correct lines faster. We booked tickets in advance so instead of lining up for hours with the rest of the people we only had to show up 5 minutes before 7:30.

First of all we walked through the Kings chambers, with its enormous bed for the levee in the morning, and the throne room.
